American actor Shemar Franklin Moore was born on April 20, 1970. His notable performances include Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless (1994-2005), Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds (2005-2016), and the leading role of Hondo on S.W.A.T. (2017-present) All of which air on CBS. From 1999 to 2003, Moore was the third permanent host of Soul Train. He has received eight NAACP Image Awards and the 2000 Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting Actor In the Drama Series.
