 Taylor Alison Swift, born 13 December 1989 is an American musician and singer. Swift's discography spans many kinds of music. The narrative style of her songs is often influenced by her personal experiences has garnered a lot of public attention and praise from critics. Swift was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania and relocated to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 14. In 2004, she signed an agreement to write songs with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and in 2005, she signed a recording contract with Big Machine Records. The first female country artist to write or co-write an US platinum-certified album. She released the self-titled debut album released in the year 2006. The first country tracks to make it to the top of the US pop and all-genre charts for airplay included "Love Story" (the first) and "You Are My Friend". Red (2012) included her debut Billboard Hot 100 number one track, "We Are Never Ever Getting back Together". She also played around with rock and electronic styles, and released her 1989 album (2014). The album was accompanied by the top of the charts "Shake It off" and "Love Story".
