Tyler Perry

 Emmitt Perry Jr. was born on the 13th of September in 1969. He was formerly known as Tyler Perry. He is an actor, comedian, film maker and playwright from the United States. He is the creator and actor of the Madea character, a tough elderly woman. Perry's films differ in style, from traditional filmmaking techniques to filmed productions of stage shows live. A number of his stage-play movies were later adapted into feature films.Perry wrote and produced numerous stage plays in the 1990s and early 2000s. He also wrote and produced various television shows, including Tyler Perry's House of Payne, which ran for eight seasons on TBS from 2006 until 2012. In 2011, Forbes listed him as the highest-paid man in entertainment with a salary of US$130 million from May 2010 and May 2011. Perry signed an exclusive, multi-year partnership with Oprah Winfrey (OWN) in 2012. The partnership was largely for the purpose of bringing scripted television on OWN in the wake of Perry's prior success in this field.
