John William Ferrell, /'fer@l/, was born July 16 1967. He is an actor as well as a comedian, producer, and comedian from the United States. He began his career in the late 1990s as a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, where was on the show from 1995 to 2002. He has since been featured in comedy films like Elf (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Kicking & Screaming (2005), Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Semi-Pro (2008), and Land of the Lost (2009). The comedy website was founded by him in Funny or Die in 2007 together with his writer partner Adam McKay. Other important performances include The Other Guys (2010) and The Campaign (2012). Holmes & Watson (2018) are also among his many films. Paul is also part of the "Frat Pack", a group of famous Hollywood comedians that came to prominence in the late 1990s/2000s. The group comprises Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Steve Carell. Paul Rudd and his brothers Owen Wilson.
