 Amy Lee Net Worth: Amy Lee, an American singer-songwriter and classically trained as a piano player is worth of more than 12 million dollars. Amy Lee is co-founder and the lead vocalist in the rock band Evanescence. Amy Lee was born in Riverside, California on December 13 1981. Her family relocated to various places such as West Palm Beach, Florida and Rockford, Illinois, and finally settled in Little Rock, Arkansas, where Evanescence started. She studied classical piano for nine years. Lee graduated from Pulaski academy Little Rock's private school in the year 2000. She briefly did a course in music theory at Middle Tennessee State University, however, she chose to focus on Evanescence in her first year of college. Lee co-founded the group Evanescence along with guitarist Ben Moody. The two met at a youth camp after Moody heard Lee performing Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything to Love (But I Won't Do This)" on the piano. Within a short time they were performing acoustic sets in Arkansas book shops and coffee houses. After recording two albums independently, the band released their first album of full-length, Fallen in 2003.
