He is currently an unsigned free agent. Brown was born in Liberty City, Miami and was a student at Miami Norland High School. Brown played in the NCAA football tournament at Central Michigan University. He was a punt returner , and was awarded All-American distinction in 2009, 2008, and 2009. Brown was selected by the Steelers in the sixth round.
