Barry Williams

 Barry William Blenkhorn, better known as Barry Williams on the stage was born on September 30, 1954. He is most well-known for his character as the eldest of the Brady brothers, Greg Brady, on the ABC television series The Brady Bunch (1969-1974), a role he reprised in numerous sequels and spin-offs.Following the end of The Brady Bunch in 1974, Williams continued to appear in television guest roles and also became involved in musical theater and touring with shows such as Grease, The Sound of Music, Pippin, and West Side Story.In 1988, Williams appeared on Broadway in the musical Romance/Romance alongside Tony Award-nominated Alison Fraser. Williams assumed the role of Alfred/Sam the main male character on the show, following Scott Bakula quit. A few years later, Williams was able to profit from the fact that he was typecast as Greg Brady. He appeared in an array of television and movie appearances that celebrated his role as a teen. However, he eventually landed a role that was quite different from the Brady part.
