Eddie Van Halen

 Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, (/vaen/ van HAY/l@n) January 26, 1955 - October 6 (October 6, 2020)) was an American musician from the United States of America. He was the keyboardist and guitarist of Van Halen. His mother was Eugenia van Beers. His father was a Dutch jazz musician and clarinettist. His mother was Indo (Eurasian) and was from Rangkasbitung located on the island of Java located in the Dutch East Indies. After being mistreated in the 1950s due to their race-mixed relationship The family relocated to Nijmegen in the Netherlands. In 1962, the parents emigrated their family to America. They moved to Pasadena close to family members and where Eddie and Alex were enrolled in an elementary school that was separate from the rest of the family. The brothers didn't speak English as their primary language.
