Elisha Cuthbert

 Elisha Cuthbert Phaneuf (/@'li:S@(born 30 November 1982) is a Canadian actress and model. As a young actress she made her first televised appearance as an extra in the Canadian horror series for children Are You afraid of the dark? and also co-hosted Popular Mechanics for Kids. In 1997 she made her debut in a feature film with the Canadian family-friendly drama Dancing on the Moon. Her first major lead part came in the drama film Airspeed (No Control) alongside Joe Mantegna. She starred in Lucky Girl in 2001. The film won her her first major award that was awarded to her, the Gemini Awards. In 2001 she relocated to Hollywood and was chosen to play Kim Bauer in series 24. It was her first major role in an American production. She was twice nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards for the part. She played Darcie Goldberg as a comedian from the college, in Old School in 2003 and Carol-Anne in Love Actually in 2003. Cuthbert was well-known for her part in The Girl Next Door (2004) which was a teen-oriented comedy film.
