Elizabeth Berkley

 Elizabeth Berkley (born July 28, 1974) is an American actress. She was the Jessie Spano character in Saved by the Bell. She was the voice of Armitage III: Poly-Matrix's title role, and she also played support roles in Roger Dodger and The First Wives Club. She was a theater actor who was praised for her performance in Hurlyburly. She is the daughter of Jere, a gift-basket business owner and Fred Berkley, a lawyer. Jason is her elder brother. She learned to dance in a basement space created by her parents. She was an auditioner for the lead role in the film Annie. After becoming attracted to the idea of working professionally in dance and traveled to New York City to train with dancers and choreographers.She performed in several ballets which included Swan Lake, and in 1983 she appeared in some musicals.
