Jessica Chastain

 Jessica Michelle Chastain, born on March 24, 1977 is an American actress. She is most well-known for her performances in films with themes of women's empowerment. She has been awarded numerous awards including an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine listed her as one of the top 100 influential people in the world in 2012. Her birth year was 1965 and began her acting career from a young age. Her stage debut was in 1998, when she portrayed Shakespeare's Juliet. After completing her acting studies at Juilliard School, she was offered a talent-holding contract from John Wells. Law & Order: Trial by Jury was one of her regular guest appearances on television. Chastain was also seen in stage productions of Anton Chekhov's production of The Cherry Orchard (2004) and Oscar Wilde's tragic Salome (2006). Her debut on film with Jolene (2008) at age 31 and was featured in six films in the year 2011. In her roles as an aspirant socialite and CIA analyst, she earned Academy Award nominations in The Help (2011) and Zero Dark Thirty (2012).
