Jo Koy

 Joseph Glenn Herbert, born on June 2, 1971, is an American actor and comedian. He was a frequent panelist on E! He was an often-repeated panelist on E!'s late-night program Chelsea Lately. Since then, he's been featured on numerous Comedy Central and Netflix specials. His father was an white American who was stationed in the Philippines as part of the United States Air Force when the time he was born. After graduating from high school in Tacoma, Washington Spanaway was relocated to Tacoma, Washington and then Las Vegas. He was a student at Spanaway Lake High School, after which he transferred to Foss High School. He relocated to Las Vegas with his grandmother who was sick. Jo Koy was enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. But the university was not his first choice to pursue stand-up comedy. Jo Koy credits his mother for his acting and comedy skills. In his stand-up comedy shows, Jo Koy often recounts tales of his mother. He was urged by his mom to participate in talent shows at school, and also to perform impromptu shows for his family and friends. He was a performer at the Las Vegas coffee shop, which inspired him to relocate to Los Angeles.
