Margot Elise Robbie (/'ma:rgoU 'rabi/; born 2 July 1990) is an Australian actress and producer. Her work is well-known for her appearances in blockbuster films and independent movies, she has won several accolades which include nominations for two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards as well as five British Academy Film Awards. Time magazine named Robbie one of the 100 most influential persons in the world in the year 2017. Forbes ranked her as one of the highest-paid actresses worldwide in the year 2019. Robbie was born in Queensland and started her career in the television show Neighbours in 2008. She was a regular on the show until 2011. After moving to America, she led the television series Pan Am (2011-2012), and made her debut in 2013 when she appeared in the black comedy film The Wolf of Wall Street. Her role in The Legend of Tarzan (2016) and Harley Quinn (2020 DC superhero film) made her more well-known.
