Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, born on March 22, 1976 was an American actress. She has received many awards, such as an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. Time magazine listed her as one of the top 100 influential people in the world in the years of 2015 and 2006. Forbes also named her as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World in the years 2019 and 2021. Forbes declared her the world's most successful actor in 2021. Witherspoon is estimated to have a fortune of $400 million. Witherspoon made her screen debut in The Man in the Moon (1991). In 1999, she acted as an actress who played a supporting role in Cruel Intentions as well as in the role of Tracy Flick in Election. Her performances in Legally Blonde (2001 and its sequel 2003) as well as in Sweet Home Alabama (2002 ) earned her more recognition. She was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as June Carter Cash in the musical biopic Walk the Line.
