Lynda Carter

 Lynda Jean Cordova Carter was born on July 24 1951. She is an American actor and singer. The show was based on the DC comics superhero with the same name. The show aired from 1975 until 1979 on ABC and then on CBS.Carter was a student at Arizona State University. She left school to pursue a career as a musician following her being named "Most talented". Carter was a candidate for an audition in 1970. She performed during a the tour of The Garfin Gathering's bandleader Howard (Speedy), Garfin. Their first concert together was in the Holiday Inn Chinatown in San Francisco that was so brand new that it did not have a sidewalk entry. They performed mostly for hotel guests and staff who drove their cars in the underground. The Garfin Gathering performed shows throughout the Nevada "Silver Circuit" as well as in many of Nevada's casinos which included Las Vegas, Carson City, Reno, Carson City, Reno, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Reno. Carter quit the Garfin Gathering to pursue acting in 1972, and later was able to return to Arizona.
